I just would lke to know ,your routine, your products(no wet wuipes, honey, or things not made for the eye) im not brave enough,i feel the burn and stickyness already, lol, and the success you have had. PLEASE LIST BRAND NAMES ,I WILL BUYING AND TRYING FOREVER NOW,LOL

With my eyes closed, i put about a size dimes worth of no more tears baby shampoo in my hand, along with four drops of tea tree pil, the work up a lather, wash my face giving extra attent to my CLOSED eye lids, then rinse with warm, dry apply non preserveative eye drops, then a " natural" loten over my face, carefully so as ot to get it in my eyes. Working like a charm. Dean

that's Tea Tree Oil

I have never met an eye doctor who seemed to care, I'm sure theyre out there, but I think I have a better chance of siting a unicorn.

dena,is there a face wash with the tea tree oil in it? paul mitchell makes a soap, have you tried? and are you back to wearing makeup? how long have you had this as well?

lol,the eye dr, in philly really was great, explained to me everything ,the causes, why,if it may or may not go? ill answer any questions you may have as well,he did say my immune system is the cause of the inflammotary response

How does the doctor know that it was your immune system that was the cause of the inflammation?

I just use dr organic's shampoo, conditioner and handwash which seems to help. Every morning i wash my hands with organic soap then I use hot water and ear buds to run along the bit of the eyelid where the eyelashes come out. I wipe away any debris/gunk with a cotton pad. I also have allergy eyedrops which seem to be brilliant! I also have dr organics manuka honey relief cream which i use for the echzma/dryness around my eyes. I then repeat in the evening and if my eyes have been feeling gritty in the day then i use the heat compress and massage techniques before my night time eye routine. This all keeps the symptoms at bay and if i stop doing it then it all flares up again. I hope this helps.

any warnings with the manuka honey? and are you able to wear eye makeup ? how long have you had condition? im writing down all products as well ,thank you

i have 2 other immune conditions, ezema and neuropathy. He explained to me there wasnt any infection and the mites maybe but not likely because there were no signs of crusting or scales and debri. He feels it was an inflammotory response do to a family member dieing and crying for 2 days straight that caused the immune system to think it was being invaded and swelled the tissue. now im left with the combo ezema around eyes and bleph! great. on a good note,he did say sometimes in ppl it wares itself out!  but im not getting to positive because then i get let down, lol

Can you explain the causes what your doctor told u? Because I've never known a doctor to say what the causes of blephartis are. I thought they was unknown

and thank you dena for your tips,im going to try!

i have other conditions with the immune system and the event that led up to the bleph and ezema that took place.

yes,i have ezema already, i also have inflammation with nerves. I had something very awful happen that left me crying for 2 days, that inflammation caused by crying caused an immumune response that caused bleph and ezema around eyes. He did say like all auto immune  inflammations they wax and wayne.

I've had this awful condition a coule years. I actsidently during the night put some esincial oil in my eye and my right ey is worse than my left. I think it also effected my spelling I wear eyeshadow for liner, and eye pencil for brows. foundation. can only wear one type of product. I am now extremly careful what I put in or near my eyes.

its kinda weird dana,i had the eye pressure checked and the dye, first time, mine are hurting a tad more too.. thank you again for the routine,im going to try

i dont think there arw any warnings.

I haven't been diagnosed with blepharitis but reading the symptoms I am pretty sure that is what I have. I had my first ever bout of conjunctivitis in Feb which took 2.5 weeks to improve nd then my eyes swelled up nd felt gritty nd got stringy mucus nd were sticking together in the mornings. They were so hot and painful nd itchy it took me 6-7 weeks in total for the symptoms to calm down nd it was the allergy eye drops that did it in the end with the above routine 4 times a day. I now do it twice a day xx
