sorry - pressed TAB and got an auto send :G~
Howdy.
I was also on 150mg VF Can't remember if I had metal taste as I drink a LOT of Coke.
Just stopped taking the tablets 10 days ago.
Effects are : can stay up late,
Getting brain zaps
After stopping VF cold, am now getting weird thing with nap on couch etc, and "wake up" in darkness, takes several seconds to realise my eyes are still closed.
I describe your mind hyper-activity as having socks in the front load dryer. They tumble around and a sock will come to the front as a predominant thought for a while with others around it, then a different sock will jump forward etc all night.
If I'm still awake at 2:30am then I won't get any sleep. I get sleep back on Saturday where I will sleep day and night.
If the subject is something involving conflict - I have to rehearse it verbally.
SLEEP:
Sleep was an issue when taking VF.. would stay up more times but not do anything except simple tasks like watch YouTube read novel.
INTERESTING comment about tight jaw.
I clench jaw so much all the right side teeth have folded into the inside so they no longer align crown to crown but right edge to middle of crown. This causes a LOT of Jaw / tooth pain which also keeps me up. Much worse if I get a headache as the blood flow seems to change in the teeth. Wonder if this was part of the VF reaction?
RE: Sleep and mind active, I'm a heavy designer - got something stoopid like 20 projects going at one time.
example: I did programming when I was young and did not sleep for 2 weeks. I may have snoozed, but I got to the stage of repeating errors that I was just wheel slipping so I stopped. Wonder if that started something in my sleep patterns?
SUN: - kicked off another thought..
I'm in Sydney Australia, but when I'm in Queensland, with a different sun angle, I swear that I'm a much better sleeper. I get up at 5. Can work much easier, and don't have so many problems. so SUN angle may be an issue here as well??!?
Have a look at he "Mornings" and "coming off venlafaxine?" for some good discusions.
