I had a hemorrhoidectomy cut and stitch almost 10 weeks ago on june 23. Ive been having an awful recovery. Still crushing, stinging/burning pain after bowel movements, while sitting or doing certain movements. I'm having problems with starting the flow when urinating. My bowel movements have also been irregular on and off I guess because of the trauma and suspected pudendal nerve problems. I havent been able to sit down since before the surgery. Sitting even on a foam cushion brings intense pain and complications. Today I had a follow up appointment. I was informed that I had a non healing wound. I was also given a series of injections for nerve blocking (not sure if one of the injections were for the nonhealing wound as well since the pain took me someplace else) at least 4 injections. Upon leaving I wasnt prescribed antibiotics or anything though. Has anyone dealt with pudendal nerve and non healing wound problems and and if so do you have any advice on what may help me with either problem and what to expect going forward. Im a 29 year old male in top shape with a good clean diet, with plenty of fiber. This has me so depressed and i am going through some dark times. Any info/insight on the subject would be nuch appreciated.
