I noticed these red spots on my glans over a week ago. They started as small spots which eventually grew larger, with dry scaly skin in the middle. Checked with a urologist who thought it was syphilis even though I told him it has been more than 6 months ago since my last sexual encounter (due to the pandemic I am unable to travel far from my residence). I’m 39 years old, reasonably healthy, circumcised. My VDRL /RPR test came back negative. Still waiting to hear back from the urologist. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks.
it looks more like a skin infection of some sort. i would see a dermatologist. do you have sensitive skin? tried new soap or laundry detergent?
I’ll try to book an appointment with a dermatologist. I’m not sure if my usual laundry shop changed detergents. My skin isn’t that sensitive although I did have eczema before. I was actually wondering if this is some form of eczema though I never had it on my penis before. Thanks for the comment.
