Not had any emails on One since 14th Feb ?

Hi all .I have not posted for a while as husband I'll and other stresses . But I look forward to reading and learning from PMR discussions and I feel lost without them as maybe you will remember me from my last posts around July last year .l apologize for not joining in discussions but too much to deal with at moment . my last email was around two weeks ago and nothing since .although I still receive emails from shingles discussions as I joined when I got them 18months ago.so am so wondering what's wrong and if there is a problem with posts .would appreciate any info on this .hope all here keep battling to win over this PMR journey.

Have you checked your account settings to make sure you haven't inadvertently blocked or left this forum?  I "reported" your post so hopefully the moderator will be able to help you fix the problem.

I had considered posting to ask where everyone is but here in the UK we are having to contend with bad weather as are other parts of Europe. I wondered if everyone is busy just trying to get about and keep warm. I have seen posts recently.

But not for two weeks, surely?  I've been seeing lots of posts lately.  Mind you, I haven't received any email notifications since they updated the system months ago.  I simply go on line every day to check if there are new notifications.

Yes, I've had regular posts. It just seemed a bit quiet the last couple of days. How is everybody on the forum? I hope you are all coping as best you can.

Someone else says she hasn't had email notifications and I have asked the moderator - who says her notifications are being issued. Have you looked in your spam folder? I've reported your post so the moderators will know and can look into it.

I wouldn't describe it as having been particularly quiet - until this morning at least!!! But the HU forum has been manic - you can tell everyone is stuck indoors and bored!!!!!

I'm not on that forum and I'm certainly not bored but I probably should be doing something more active. Lit the fire late morning yesterday so that was the end of anything active!

I had similar problems a while back and had to keep re-setting my options. Still get email notifications but they are a bit hit and miss so I just log on  and then click where it says Notifications top right corner ( ish ). Often there will be posts there that have not appeared in my in box nor in spam.

hi Eileen and all who commented for me on no emails for two weeks.well ! I still got no emails posts but looked in spam (although had looked before) and here I found these posts - so maybe ive done something accidently to direct these to spam -but no idea how to correct this .any ideas please .thanks and best wishes to all .

Probably not your fault - gmail puts the most surprising things into spam at times!!!! Months of emails from an official research group and suddenly they went via spam!!!

Have you got a 5 year old handy?

I can't keep up!  I don't know how you do it.    ❤

I can never remember how to stop mail from going to spam.  The box you have to tick is not intuitive to find.  As well, the email programs keep getting changed and in my experience seldom for the better.

Hi all,

Sorry I've taken a while to reply. Regarding email notification issues, there is not much we can do apart from check that we are sending them. I have checked everyone's account here that have said they are having issues and the emails are being sent by us.

You can check your email settings here https://patient.info/forums/me/settings to ensure you should still be receiving them.

You can check which groups you are a member of here https://patient.info/forums/me/groups in case you have accidentally left a group.

You can see which discussions you are following for which you should get emails when replies are posted here

https://patient.info/forums/me/discussions/following

If the above are all as expected, as has been said, the first thing to do is check your spam/junk folder. If the emails are there you should be able to select them and click "Not spam" or similar which will put them back in your inbox. The other issue is it may be your email provider is blocking them for whatever reason which is beyond our control and you would need to either Google how to unblock or contact your email provider support service.

If users continue to have issues the easiest way to check for posts is as others have said - go to your Notifications page. The "Notifications" link at the top right of the page goes to

https://patient.info/forums/me/notifications and this is a list of all of the notifications you would receive via email if they were all being received. Unread post notifications have a grey background and a "Mark as read" comment. Read post notifications do not have the text or background colour.

I hope this helps and if users want to direct anyone else to this comment you can post this link which will not go for moderation as an in-house link.

Thank you so much for your very detailed info on how to try to solve this and I will attempt to sort it as advised .probably take me some time as am not very technical but will try my best 😎 and let you know !

Find a child or a teenager.  They'll sort it out for you!  The only problem I have with my son (who is himself well past teenagerhood, is that he does it too fast for me to learn how to do it myself!

Quite - and when OH does it he is also too fast for me to write it down so I can work it out for myself - and his instructions are more destructions...
