For years I have found myself feeling very over whelmed with every thing, even with cleaning my own place sad 

I have no idea why or how to over come this  HELP

how do you deal with it?

A day at a time, good fiends or neighbours help.

I set myself a task on Tuesday night to wash the dishes great effort but not much pleasure but I suppose we just have to keep going

Yes you're in the right spot. I have sort of the same feelings as you. Now I'm 19 and live with my parent's so thankfully my mom is around to help clean the house. But my room is always clustered and when I look at it I get overwhelmed with cleaning it up. Honestly I get overwhelmed with doing anything if there's no one with me. And this stems from my anxiety.

OMG! I thought I was the only one! I have panic attacks when my place needs to be clean. What has helped is not thinking about it. I just start picking things up as I walk around. I take my time and if it's too overwhelming, I just don't clean till the next day. I have this issue because my mother was very strict about cleaning and I had to clean up and straighten up for everyone. It was an abusive situation and it began at age six. My dream of becoming wealthy is only so that I can pay people to do the cleaning for me. The anxiety it causes is really bad. Especially washing dishes. Now I get overwhelmed with school work or shopping. I forget things and become frustrated with myself. I wish I could give you advise but I'm still trying to find out how to better cope. One thing that has helped is taking one thing at a time. Telling myself its okay if I didn't get something done and that tomorrow is a new day. You are not alone! I hope you will soon find the coping skills necessary to deal. I have heard yoga, meditation, and breathing helps. I have not tried them but they may help you. Best of luck !
