for the past about 5 days ive had swelling and pumps on my vagina and i was worried that i may have gotten herpes but i thought i may have been overreacting and it was simply a yeast infection. i have discharge but it is not chunky like most websites described it to be but it was extremely itchy. i bought some monistat and have been using it for 2 days now and the swelling and itching are both just about gone. this got me thinking... if its herpes would the monistat have made it worse or stay the same? the reason i havent checked with a doctor is because i dont have insurance
usuallt herpes takes days to clear up .. about 7-14 i wouldnt think monistate would make it worse i just dont think it would help with the healing process. u know? i hear herpes ( genital) is painful and itchy ? are u having any blisters or pain?
its not painful but it was very itchy for the first few days. theres a few types of bumps ive noticed and some skin peeling but none of it hurts or burns
