Not sure if I pooped worms or mucus

I went to the bathroom this morning and it looked like a strange thread wrapped around my stool. I tried to separate it with a stick and it came apart into a few pieces all seemed about 2" each and I am super freaked out! idk if it is mucus or worms. I have no other symptoms.

It could be the tapeworm, or another form of worm. I do not think isnt mucus, either way its a good thing that it left your body.
