Not sure of my diagnosis

I have just been diagnosed and wanted to be sure that my symptoms match with anyone else's.

I can be walking up stairs and legs all of a sudden turn to jelly

so tired

aching legs

ringing in the ears

tender feet and legs almost a bruised feeling

weakened grip and tight feeling in muscles in arms and hands

going to pooh more often

but I'm not getting actual pain like I've read some of you are

i would be so grateful if you share if your symptoms are the same and how do you treat yourselves

thank you

Symptoms all the same try not to let it get me down but some days it just takes over. Like today just want to curl up and sleep

Yes Lorraine, these are pretty common symptoms. But an important fact is that we all have varied symptoms; it seems that no two people are exactly alike. But I have had many of the ones you have. Try to keep your stress levels down as much as possible. Stress and worry make them worse. But You will have better days Lorraine. Maggie xx

Not a bad day to curl up if you can with the rain, thank you for your reply

thank you,I do seem to get good days where I think it's gone away and I feel full of energy and then get knocked flat again.ive got to go and see a neurologist now, what is that going to achieve, any clue.its so lovely to have found this group I was thinking all sorts was wrong with me

I have all of your symptoms plus a few more. Don't get discouraged. You will have good days and bad. It takes time for you to learn what your body can do. It's frustrating knowing what you want to do and what your body will actually allow you to do.

Just like our symptoms can vary so can our treatments. A rheumatologist can make the diagnosis by doing the 18 point test on you. It can take a while to get a diagnosis. While a new blood test has come on the market, the most common way to get diagnosed is to rule out all other illnesses and then the point test.

If you need to talk or vent, we are here to listen and offer advice. This is the one place that people understand.

Thank you,I had a good morning  but is afternoon I feel like I've been drugged I sleep so heavy, are the feelings you get in your legs twitches and aches like growing pains and I get them in my hips x

I know the feeling all too well. I try my best not to nap during the day anymore. Usually around 12 to 3 I crash but I found that if I did that I had a harder time leaping at night. I switched around my supplements so I take magnesium at night to help sleep without having leg spasms and my vitamin b to the afternoon to wake me up. Doesn't always work but helps more than not.

Right now I'm on my 2nd day without sleep due to stress. Last week I fell asleep on the couch at 6pm and woke up at 7am. I wish I can get this straightened baxk out but life definitely has its curve balls. And as much as I try to avoid stress it's still there.

Well Im not sure , all the symptoms seem to differ and are so vast that who realy will ever know ... All I can actually recommend is looking at the medication you have been put on for the fibro... ? If in fact any ....Reason being ... I have had many of those symptoms too after medication.

ringing ears

legs like jelly

etc..
