I don't seem to get any notifications these days, anybody any ideas?
Many have gone to Healthunlocked because of changes made to this forum. ElaineH checks in about once a week. You have to check into this site instead of receiving emails from PATIENT unless the email is directed to you personally.

So sorry! I think I have always called her ElaineH. And she never corrected me in all these (3/4) years! Talk about brain fog! I didn’t used to be this way…
this site is dead now because we no longer get notifications of new posts, so just about everyone left. its sad because this is where i came for good information, received sound advice and felt comfortable enough to ask a question. plus we came to learn about others’ situations and issues and experiences. all gone now. sad.
A couple of years ago I looked back at my old posts and re-read the replies to my very first post. They were brilliant. I learned pretty much everything I would need to know for the coming journey. It was such a good thread I posted a link to it so it could be read by current followers of the community. Yesterday I wanted to check something else historic that I’d posted, and to my dismay discovered that hardly anything exists any more of the old posts, mostly what seems to be left in my profile is relatively irrelevant stuff complaining about the new format of the forum. Rolls eyes.
I thought I’d mention it as it did appear not to be a typo! Easy mistake. People have had problems with my avatar name (which, btw, is Old English for Wanderer).
What a shame. I copied some of your conversations, especially EileenH’s, and sent them to my MD as they were so informative to what I was going through. I fear my many saved PMR emails will be empty if I attempt to re-read them. I miss the way it was.

They may still be there. It could have been a temporary glitch. But I agree, this site has definitely not improved. It’s a shame.
I can promise everyone that they will get the same service - probably enhanced - over at Health Unlocked.
Of course, no-one will see that will they!!!
I do usually check in once a week but been a bit distracted! This new version is useless and now they have added another layer of security to put even more off. It is so slow it takes me longer to deal with one post here as two on the other forum.
