Does anyone else get this? A numb feeling on the left side of my face feels like it's drooping but when I look in the mirror it's fine! Get it in my arms too aswell my left arm felt completely numb for about a week! What is this?
I have had it in the past but anxiety plays cruel tricks on you stay strong
Anxiety does that to you, but please check with your doctor to rule out any physical illness. But don't worry anxiety can be awful. I'm going through it now ...
Yeah I have been ruled out and it's anxiety, but this feeling is frightening and uncomfortable!😞 also have a horrible headache😞 feels like my eyes are burning
I have a similar feeling, hope u feel better, gets worse at night, feels scary, and I have major headaches, Dr also thinks it's anxiety, but it's hard to believe, hugs,xx
It's the worst I have myself worked up about it and giving myself more weird and scary symptoms😞 you too thank you xxx
I get this too, like a proper numb feeling that keeps coming and going and a constant weird feeling in my arm and leg on the left side. I'm still willing to get this checked as I agree it is scary
It's the worst I have horrible chest pain on my left side and I'm crying with the pain it's unbearable😞x
I could have wrote your post!!!
This is what I get on a regular basis.
I do get a twitch though as well on one side of the face. Maybe it's anxiety related, I don't know. I understand it's worrying though.
It's the worst! I hate it I hate anxiety😞x
Yea I'm getting those symptoms aswel but Everytime I look in mirror it looks normal
Me too Hun it's the worst x
Hi Rachel huni! Big hugs. Yes I get this too and it's not nice.

I have went to my doctors with this so many times but anything sinister ruled out it's just aniexty. I'm having wobbles at the minute too so I understand. Hope your okay please stay calming try to relax huni xx
HI I get your feeling all the time it's starts in the middle of my forehead and seems to go round my face and down to my ear . I now no it's part of anxiety reading what others have wrote witch makes me feel much better knowing it's nothin more than anxiety . I am learning to cope with anxiety . I read a article and a man said when you feel your anxiety or panic attack is coming on invite it in to your mind (come on let's have it give me you best shot ) . It like clouds in the sky passing by they come they go just like anxiety it comes and it goes . One part of you has to be the dominant one and the other is the weak . I am the dominant one and the anxiety is the weak it doesn't always work that way but it's 80% in my favour . Hope all this makes sence
Just hang in there! We're all in it together !!
just like they said, anxiety playing tricks in your mind, just stay strong, i know you can do it!
Yup, I get that every so often. You will be ok.
hi rachel. i hope you are doing well. i know this has been quite an old post. i was searching for the symptoms at google, and saw your post. i have been feeling what you are feeling. im afraid that something is wrong with my body and it is trying to tell me something. i went for ecg test, and it shows everything normal. but i am going to get second opinion this coming tuesday.
Hi Timothy,
I hope you are well. I have been experiencing very similar symptoms. I had it a little more scary about three months ago and went into the ER, even had a CT scan, but everything resulted normal, I thank God.
I had this facial feeling a few times in the past couple of weeks or so, and the only thing that was prominent at the time was stress, so perhaps that brought it on, I don't know. I however was traveling and ever since I have been home, it's a feeling that comes and goes really, where the sensation on left side of my body feels slightly different to the right. I am prehypertensive so I am not sure if that's what precipitating it. I am quite relaxed here so I am not sure what's up entirely. Maybe the change in weather.. food.. the change in transition from one place to another.
Do share your thoughts and know you aren't alone! I am sure it isn't what our panicky thoughts lead us to think.
Blessings.
This post wasn't 3 years ago, but I am hoping anyone that has had these symptoms will be able to reply. I am struggling with this right now, I have been to the hospital thinking I am having a stroke, but I am not.
I have narrowed down when it happens, and it is ALWAYS during my menstrual cycle. Is that the case with anyone else?
