hi! anyone get numbness feeling in their face? ive been obsessing that i have mouth cancer!! few issues have lead me to this, im due to see dentist next week but im just wondering if anyone else gets it? it can go from left side to right side but im feeling it especially on right side...when i say numb i mean just the feeling if j touch their i can feel it when i touch it etc but it feels almost tingly...feels like the skin feel different on my jaw line and cheek bone! its not inflamed and i can move my mouth etc fine. its such a strange sensation. its making me so anxious! anyone experience same? ive felt terrible with anxiety for a year now and cant seem to shake it off.
i have had this on and off for years. it can happen on either side of my face normally under my eye or on the side of my face to the cheek. if i gently rub one side i can feel sensation but not on the numb side. after a few days it has always subsides and goes away. my doctor has always put it down to my anxiety.
yeah well mine isnt numb as i can still feel everything in that area, but ive noticed it does come on more when im anxious. it seems to be more frequent now too. id visit my gp but i have a feeling he would put it down to anxiety also. ive been using difflam spray for my throat (had a recent infection) once ive used that i get a strange senstation in my lips. maybe is just due to anxiety then.
could be receding gums, a pulling sensation even pulsating kind of feeling?
