i was diagnosed with fibromyalgia twenty years ago. My symptoms are mainly muscle stiffness, pain in my neck and head and the tops of my arms, and peculiar skin sensations in my legs. Recently I have noticed that very occasionally my symptoms seem to totally disappear late at night just before I go to bed. The feeling is so miraculous that I delay going to bed just to enjoy being able to move freely without pain. Next morning though, the pain and stiffness are back and I’m desperately trying to remember what I ate, drank,or did the day before that may have triggered my temporary remission. Has any one else experienced this?
I sometimes experience a similar freedom for an hour or so mid morning that doesn't make sense
I have! Lots of times I will feel better shortly before bedtime. I never said anything about as I feel crazy enough as it is! I just figured maybe I felt relieved that the stress of the day was over, and maybe I relaxed more. Doesn't happen every evening, but enough that i have noticed it.
Mine starts at night .. all day I can be ok. But the nights are a nightmare for me..
This is me Gloria mine lift from about 10am till 9 pm then at night the pain kicks in do you take anything Gloria?
mine too sometimes go away for an hour or two after I lay down for bed. but by 3am they are back
I do hope that this is a sign that you are going to recover from this horrible health problem. I have had Fibro for 22 years, and I stopped researching it years ago. I resigned myself to the fact that I would have it for life. Do you know if others have eventually recovered from it ? Is there hope ?
Take care and keep improving.
