Does anyone else suffer from OCD?
Does this medicine work for you?
I have been prescribed 100mg for my OCD(just been diagnosed although have suffered for about 10 years).
Hi Dinky, i suffer from anxiety and ocd have done from childhood,been on sertraline on and off for a good few years certainly feel better on it. I dont think it takes it away completely just makes it a bit more bearable.

At last OCD i havent seen it mentioned before . i have been on Serraline for 3 months now ,( after prozac) started on 50 then went to 100 i feel alot better in myself , feel i have some control over my OCD.
i find the OCD is still winning though so think my doctor will raise it to 150.
she is very supportive wants me to speak to some one to assess how bad i am this time yes i have had this for at least 45 years .

Sorry to hear you have been suffering for so long....it's an awful thing to have.

What OCD symptoms do you suffer from?
over the years My OCD has manafested in loads of ways , some have the power to rule my life ,some even i can laugh about.
I have had it so long its part of my life now .
as i said sertraline is making life a little easier. next i need to find out why i am like this, sometimes i think i was born with it.
