I am now 8 weeks post op tomorrow ( Tuesday ) I am off to see my consultant at dinner time so get to the bottom of all my problems. Will let you know how I get on when I come back. Hopefully now I am fully healed I can start physio in the hydrotherapy pool.
Bring your list with questions !!! I did, however, my surgeon was too pre-occupied to listen ... hope yours will be different ... looking forward to your findings ....big hug
Best of Luck Hailea, sure it will be fine. Ive got in to see mine three weeks before I was due to, two weeks from now I really need the other side doing as I cant see myself getting back to work with one side done and not the other, it is getting worse by the week and more painful than ever it was before I had the right one done.
But I am getting about a lot easier thank the operation for that...Phew....I was in a bit of a mess I assure you...
I have my list on my phone so I don't forget it. I have a great surgeon he does listen to what I have to say. I made requests to how I wanted my operaton and he did listen. His bedside manner is great. I am sure he will listen to me. He got a bottle of drink when I left the ward and we have a lot in common I give him polo mints for his horses and treats for his dogs too so he is good that way. We are on first name terms as I am with his secretary.
Yes my right side is now so bad I can't even do my excersizes for my operated side except the foot pumps. I am so down he will have to do somerthing or I won't have the streangth to deal with my right hip being done in 12 weeks time.
Hi hailea! Good luck! I am just over 12 weeks post op! Still struggling with stiffness and have other is in knee's and hip! But there is no way I am having another op! Regards Amanda
