It's official I got the call today, I have hsv1. No sign of hsv2. I broke down and cried... I'm at a huge conference for school at this exact moment and this is all I can think of. I'm glad I have an answer now but whoa that's a heavy hit.
Sh1t, I feel for you... I'm sure you had yourself prepared for the worst but still hoping for the best. I was secretly just hoping they visually misdiagnosed me up till I got told. Is it genital?
Idk they did a blood test last week. I've had lots of tingling and burning down there after the sex but I feel it more around my mouth and face. I even had a blister on my mouth for a day last month... heavy heavy feeling..

You have it orally, as you already know. Your genital symptoms (as described elsewhere) are vague at best, so it cannot be concluded that you have it below the belt. Lucky you don't have Type 2.
