Hi all
two hips done now feeling on the mend,knee hurting and giving way yesterday fell in garden grazes and a cut so will need to see gp
then at 2.30 am woke up by neighbour my car on fire suspected arson i felt faint and sick
told later it was electrical fault and it could have happen at any time with us in it!
Had no sleep police special constable was fab,now keep crying and have so much to deal with
realise its not hip related but my car was my independents

Sorry you are going through all this. I know what you mean when your knee hurts and keeps giving way. I have not had my right hip done yet. but I am getting bad pains in the knee same as you.
As for your car wow you were so lucky you werer not in it when it caught fire if it could have happened any time. Hope all thees problems you are having sort themselves out soon x
Wow! That is bad news esp understand about independence lost. Hard not to be superstitious and say bad luck runs in threes. You've just had your three I reckon...

Good Lord ... no wonder you feel overwhelmed - like everyonelse is saying : you are OK and that is what matters most ... if it is a fault in the car, it is a manufacture issue ... so you can sue them or something ... I hope you have assistance with this ..
maybe your insurance policy covers a rental car ... i am just thinking out loud here ...
sorry you had a nasty fall too ... make sure that you have it checked when you are in pain ....

what a bummer, sorry to hear about hips, this weekend my left hip has been playing up, so back on codydramol for a couple of days, hope that you can claim on your car insurance and they will pay pdq or arrange for a loan car whil;st they sort your out, what pain killers have you been taking?

I have heard of one such accident in my 30 odd years of driving a lady at the Wild Coast Sun one of us, my neighbour, came to work, and her car caught fire in the carpark just after she parked it..it is rare, but can happen. Ian.
Oh my goodness so sorry this must have been frightening to experience. Praise God that it didnt happen with you in it.!!!
Update
well recovery came around 6am he took the car but left the engine, number plate metal and lots of mess so had to ring them back and get them to cme bk out. Recovery man did come back out however he had nothing to pick debris up with so his wife had to come out with pink bags

rang insurance company who were useless!!!
got claim number but if its ok with me we will call u tomorrow as its Sunday!!!
burst into tears call handler was awful and made me feel in sme way this electrical firer was my fault!!!
so ive cried lots hugged daughter and our cats who often came on holiday in car to the coast..
mind still running wild but hopefully that will calm dow. Inn time
