ok folks, this is over and out from me!

3 days to go to my tkr and I am climbing the walls! I   have a caravan at the coast so we are off for the weekend to take my mind off the impending op, everything I can possibly do in preparation is done so a nice quiet weekend is on the cards, I have to leave for hospital at 5 am on monday  so this is it from me I will post as soon as I surface. Thankyou all for your good wishes and moral support., and bye (for now)

Have a nice time and good luck with the op I have mine on Saturday look forward to hearing from you soon

You will be fine. I was so worried before mine and then wondered why. Eight weeks in and so much better. You will go through all sorts of emotions, why did I do this, I will never get back to normal and all the rest. Good luck, be positive!

The same to you, believe me you will suddenly realise it was worth it!

Thank you

I don't blame you! Hope the weather is ok for you so that you can make the most of the weekend. Best wishes for next week - it will soon be worth it!

Good luck !

Good luck and best wishes. Have a lovely weekend and hope the op goes well. 😉xxx

Good luck and remember to keep your eye on the goal. It will come. We are here for you especially when you can't sleep everything seems magnified! Don't be too hard on yourself.

Good luck and keep in touch with the forum as soon as you are strong enough!

Hello, you have a roller coaster ride ahead of you, many ups and downs. I am aday behind you. Having my left tkr on tuesday. I had my right knee done in January. Of course second time round I know sort of what to expect. But certain bits I am dreading, only because we all have hang ups about different things. I hate needles so the spinal anesthetic and daily injections for two weeks, are probably my least favourite part. Also will my 'already operated knee be able to support the other one' ?????? Anyway good luck on monday. I have found the forum a really good support.

All the very best of luck to you, pop on here for a chat when you feel up to it, and remember, any questions, we are here for you xx

Have fun on the holiday.  Remember how the leg feels now and compare in 6 months.

Good idea to go away. I remember I kept myself busy the week before my op and it helped. Good luck for Monday.

good luck hun
