Going on 3rd week of Celexa and see no improvement. Any Celexa advice or success stories to get me through?

I am 13 weeks now in and have seen big improvements in the past 3 weeks, i started to get good spells, days here and there after about 6 weeks and its been up and down since that. Very rarely people get improvements in the first 3 weeks.. The start can be painful time but with patience and time it will get better.

Thanks for responding. It gives me hope! Were the side effects pretty brutal for you the first few weeks?

I started 20mgs of Citalopram last November and it took approx 16 weeks to start feeling better. I am back to enjoying my life at 80 years old. I am sure this medication will work for you if you stick with it. I also used Talking Therapies which helped me tremendously.

Yes, the first 4-6 weeks were bad thinking back, i was on here daily looking for help. This was a great site a few years back. There is a lady called Kate Cogs who was great at giving advice. When i look back now i am so much better but still having some anxiety which is annoying, but my life is a little stressful at the minute, prob does not help. Hopefully you settle on these.
