On-going Gastritis battle, has anyone had similar issues?

I had my first gastritis attack on 15th September 2020, had a chest ache and went straight to the emergency thinking it was a heart issue or Covid, Few hours and an ecg, covid test and an x-ray later found out it wasn’t any of those. Was suggested to go see a gastroenterologist who suggested an upper endoscopy.

My body profile: Before the attack I was 132 lbs at 5 feet 8 inches. I am very thin boned naturally so I don’t weigh much and 135 lbs feels good on me.

Endoscopy diagnosis: Gastric Antral Type Mucosa Showing Mild Chronic Gastritis. No Helicobacter pylori was discovered.
Medication: Pantoprazole 40 mg, daily for 3 months

After my diagnosis, I started watching what I ate but found it really hard to keep my acidity low consistently. Then just a week back on December 6, I had an attack like the first one back in September and I’ve been feeling horrible since. My appetite has crashed and my sleep is really bad.

I currently weigh 113 lbs, which is a weight loss of 19 lbs in 3 months. Even soupy lentils make my stomach go crazy. I’ve become very anxious because of this and I worry this might increase my gastritis. Going to meet the doctor again soon.
