hiya peeps
well i've been to see the trickcyclist today , even tho i'm not 100%, i don't need to see my trickcyclist for now, nor the community psychiatric nurse
if i dive into a major depression again for more than a week or two, my GP will refer me straight back to them :rainbow:
the plan is for me to stay on the fluoxetine for another two to three months, then stop it (the good news is i can stop it abruptly
as it has a half life of several weeks) and stay on the lamotragine (mood stabilizer) indefinitely  if i relapse i can go back on the fluoxetine straight away
as there is a big genetic factor involved with me, it could be i'll be struck with the 'black dog' again in the futer :? but next time i won't ignore it hoping it will go away, i'll get on the case straight away :ok: i advise all of you to do the same  the longer you leave it to fester and feed on itself, the longer it takes to get well again  trust me i've been there a lot of times before
so don't despair peeps, 8 months ago i was an emergency and was refered to the crisis team immediately, i was on the verge of turning the lights out permanently   i'm 80% back to normal (whatever that means lol  ) it's a long haul, but trust me, take the meds etc and you will all get there
cheers,
Ken~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ :run:
