I was fine until I developed a lovely headcold/sore throat/chest congestion. The sore throat went away, the nose clogged up, the ears clogged up, the chest congestion started. The nose slowly unclogged, but the left ear won't pop. Doctor said nothing is wrong according to a hearing test. said pressure is the same in both ears. How can he tell if he doesn't look??? Just by the hearing test? I don't get it. Off to a new doctor on Friday for a second opinion. Any suggestions?
I hope the hearing test is a comprehensive one and it checks the movement of the ear drum or the pressure in the middle ear. That should tell you if the Eustachian tube works well enough.

just to reassure you I started with a horrible virus four weeks ago and my ears were completely blocked up to two days ago (and there's still a little cracking) I was also about to see a specialist but I just had to be patient!
I am too impatient when it comes to health matters. I get obsessive and overwhelmed. Finally today At the doctors office my left ear just popped out of nowhere. They dI'd a comprehensive exam and hearing test. I'm very thankful tonight.
