i seriously think god hates me.... or i have a big dark cloud over my head. just moved into a new place.... first found out it has cockroaches.... then bird poop everywhere outside, because we live next to a lake.... then found out we have fruit bats.... now.... its my oven! ive cleaned it twice now because when i turn it on, it smells like chemicals.... but the smell won't leave. im worried because what if because there were cockroaches someone bombed the place and its residue in there?! when I first moved in and cleaned it... there was white residue all over the inside of the oven. and ive complained so much already that I just don't know what to do... i haven't cooked in it yet as Im afraid its going to kill me or my family. please help me with my thoughts and help rationalize them... i wanna ask for a new stove but afraid... or maybe someone purposely did something harmful to it?!?
I doubt somebody did it on purpose. If it still smells like chemicals, tell management. you pay for that place and you should get a proper stove.
