my experience of working in there in the past is definitely yes Billy . if for any reason you need drips / tubes etc these things stretch lol.
have they asked you to take in your own cpap machine ??
Hi julie1717
yes I am taking my cpap machine in with me
average AHI 0.5
Its funny how the unknow affects us
Thank you Sue545454
good re machine.
agree tho it’s always the bits we are unsure abt that worry us the most ![]()
Pre-op did anyone get depressed with the pain and breathless due to the effort of walking fighting the pain?.
Hi Billy, if they know about it then it’s not going to be a problem, our very good friend had a triple bypass and he has chronic sleep apnea and has a mask at night and he was absolutely fine even with a full general, if you have the spinal they will offer you sedation I’m sure and if you are brave enough you can opt for none like my crazy mother in law at I think 83 she’s nuts though a now 91
Talk to a member of the team and see what they think
Well 16 hours to check in so hopefully this time tomorrow should be done and dusted
Hey
Hey Billy, been away for a few weeks. How are you doing? Best Wishes
Helen
Bet he’s walking about on his crutches completely forgotten about the us worrying about him
hi, been walking with sticks from the day after the operation, pain level has been 0-1 so basically nil
why people have to wait for this life changing surgery is honestly heartbreaking.
I am a new man now and still cant believe the difference
Hi
no never forget the people who helped me and that includes everyone in this site and all the support and advice given to me .
Since my operation I have not been online so much because I am filled with energy and just want to keep walking
I know it will settle down and I am always willing to give help and advice as needed .
its been a strange transition but like I said I can not thank you all enough for everything you have all done for me
Great news. Keep up with them there exercises. So glad you finally got sorted x
Great to hear you’re doing so well Billy, take care of yourself & keep on walking!
I am so pleased your doing so well, brilliant that you have bypassed the crutches and cut straight to the sticks, you are doing incredibly well, what did you have an epidural, did you have sedation
pleased you’re still doing well Billy
Megan
lol I wasn’t giving the choice lol spinal and knocked out lol probably to keep me quiet lol but they did a fantastic job
That is fantastic news Billy, when you think of the trauma you had to go through to get to this point. Also the sleep apnea seems to have not caused too much problem. You must be so relieved.
so please to hear you are doing well, ive been wondering how you have been getting on. keep doing your exercises if you can. Well done you
