Hard to believe one year has passed so quickly. Very blessed to have achieved a positive outcome at 67yo. Continue to have glute weakness and ocassional stiffness upon walking after siting for an extended time. The walking stiffness lasts for only a step or two. I am using weights at the gym to rehab the glute. Daily goal to bike and walk a mile or more has been a key to recovery. Also maintaining a healthy weight, proper diet, rest, and positive attitude help as well. Best regards and the Lord's blessings to all THR graduates.
I'm so glad for you!!! Keep getting stronger!!
Congratulations on a successful recovery. I'm also 1 year on & everything is going so well I've forgotten I've even had it done!

Thanks. Glad all is going well for you !! God's blessings to you too!
Hi Rangerjack
Thanks for your positive words I am 4 and half months post op on LHR. I am now walking normally with no real pain and not limping at all which feels amazing😀I have been doing a lot of work in the pool and my physio has just signed me taken the stick back and has given me the go ahead to go to the gym.. I managed to take my dog for just over a 4 mile walk yesterday and only had slight muscle stiffness this morning. I agree having a positive attitude and trying to be patient and listening to your body and doing as you are told( which I am not known for😀 are the key. Good luck to everyone with their journey xx
