Operation Cancelled

My operation for Monday 16 March has just been cancelled because of maintenance work, said they will try to get me in by the end of the week

They will phone me Monday

Aw you poor thing that is awful for you, you get all geared up to go then you have to go through it again, I am so sorry .

Crumbs it is doubly awful for you, I have just read your 'about me page', this is the 2nd time it has been cancelled, you poor thing I really feel for you.

So sorry to hear that.....it must be very frustrating for you......keep badgering them for a new date if you have not heard anything by mid week x

Oh no, that is so frustrating after getting all prepared and mentally ready for your op, Im due to go in on 09/04 and i am so worried it is going to be cancelled. fingers crossed they get you in asap. x

cancelled for the second time. I live alone my sister had arranged to stay with me for a few days

Oh no especially after we psych ourselves up for it but trying to look positive if there is something wrong with theatre or equipment it is reassuring that they are doing something and not ignoring it. Hope it all back on track soon xx

Keep calling them to find out what's happening I've talked to people on this site that have made a fuss over cancelled appointments and got to go private. The quiet ones get dismissed. Wrong but it seems to happen

Is it you thats waiting to go in Kings Lynn Hospital or is that Jacqueline?

I can so sympathise with you, i'm on my 4th cancellation now, my house has never been so clean lol. My work are not best pleased but not a lot i can do. Original op date was 19th Jan so i should have been back at work by now but i'm still here and now looking at 13th April so nearly 3 months of postponing

Hi Judy - I have had my op cancelled on the 20th March but this was because my bloods were not right and need an MRI scan on my Gall Bladder before I go for my op.
