OptiEdge iol design and edge-glare

Hello!

I would love to hear from people who had implanted an intraocular lens with optiedge design (sloped, rounded anterior edge) if they see edge-glare, arcs, side flickering and other annoying disturbances?

The lens with optiedge are Tecnis silicone and hydrophobic acrylic, sensar AR40e and Clariflex.

I have sensar iol implant and I am seeing light disturbances as you mentioned in your email. Not sure what to do.

Me too, i have glare and ghost image as an arc in the temporal side !

When did you have surgery?

I had it the 24 Mars for the first eye and the second the 5 May. I saw many Doctors and each one gives me different opinion about that !

So sorry that happened to you. What did they say exactly. Do they say that it is going to go away? Or exchange the lens that has less glare.

Did it get less glare the first eye over time?
