I had unprotected oral sex with a female sex worker, I'm scared i've caught HIV. I went to a sexual health clinic and they said that there was no need for me to test for HIV based on this. However, I am still worried,what should I do?
You've done what you can. Why would I expect you to believe me better than an expert you have already seen in person? Believe them and move on!
Go find another clinic if you really want to test. But understand that oral transmission of HIV is so rare that many doctors (like your clinic) don’t see it as a risk and are dismissive. Trust the experts.
