oral thrush from stress?

hi everyone. if you could give me advice that would be great. i am 19, and used to be healthy before getting sick with mono in october 2017. after intital infection i never really felt better and found out i had Chronic EBV infection, which then led to Hashimotos. anyways i experienced a bout of what i believe is oral thrush. i felt bumps like grains of sand on my soft pallette and it felt like hair was stuck in my mouth. (not painful just annoying). however I’m a hypochondriac and googled online and saw that oral thrush is a sign of either HIV or cancer. I haven’t been on any antibiotics since june, don’t smoke, no inhalers. i’m absolutely terrified. i even got an hiv test and it was negative. why would i have thrush.??? does this mean i have cancer or something. My stress levels have been extreme for a year now. so bad that i needed therapy for 6 weeks everyday. can chronic stress cause oral thrush? and maybe it has a connection with Ebv. i’m so worried. as i hear its only common in those who are very sick.
