Orencia injection

Hi all,

Will be starting this injection today.

Diagnosed in 2010, currently on MTX, Plaquenil, Sulphasalazine.

Previously tried Enbrel and Simponi.

My bloods have always all been normal apart from Rh factor and ANA.

For those of you who are familiar with this med I'm just wondering what's the earliest I can expect to see an improvement (if any) in my symptoms the worst of which are severe fatigue, stiff swollen and painful hands and feet.

My Rheumatologist advised me I could see result results in anything from 2 weeks to six months.   You will be having bloods every week in the early stages and that will tell you if the MTX is having an effect on inflamation; however, it doesn't necessarily flow on to a reduction in pain or slow the progress of the disease and that is the main consideration!   So, if your lucky - a couple of weeks, unlucky - 6 months, very unlucky - zip.
