Can anyone else give me their opinion as to whether some batches work more effectively than others? Since being on the tablets I have had my prescription filled at the same chemist.... this month - I had it filled at a different chemist!! What a difference!! I have had minimal side effects on the Orlistat and very slow weight loss up til now - but since starting this new batch - orange oil every time!! I just wondered if anyone else had had this experience.... Maybe its just my body and tablets now working in unison???
I'm seriously wondering this myself....haven't kept the number of the last batch I got but will this time....I can only get them in one pharmacy....we are very rural compared to England and it may well be that I'm still on the same batch for ages. Time will tell. Sorry I can't be of more help.
I've had no real success in four weeks and wondered if it's me or the tablets. Perhaps I'll query it when I go to the GPs next as I'm about to give up using them and just stick to the low fat diet I've now got used to over the last few weeks. I no longer have the sweet cravings so that must be a bonus at least!
I did believe there is a difference in batches, the first batch I was on I had nothing, the second I was on wow to begin with was fab lost 3lbs in 1st couple of days then nothing, I've now given up on Orlistat seen Dr this morn and he said doesn't think I need tablets at all as I am losing nice and slowly with going to gym and eating low fat, but I wanted to try Reductil so as of today I am trying that will see if it makes a difference and hopefully speed up the weight loss a bit, we on hols in 4 weeks and wanted to lose more than what I have before then.
