Has anyone tried Osphena? My GYN recommended it to help with the atrophy. It is a hormone that only helps the vaginal tissue. It does not affect breast tissue. I am willing to try it to get relief from the vulva and vaginal burning. Thanks.
Can't say that I have, but hope it helps you! I read your post about your troubles and feel for you my goodness you have had a rough few months too
Thanks so much, Yolanda. I see a urologist tomorrow.
I used it for about 6 months it did take 3 months before I saw improvement. I am now on intrarosa because the osphena caused spotting. Hope it helps you.
Hi Erica,
Thanks for your response. May I ask what symptoms you had prior to taking Osphena?
Thanks.
Hi Maryann, I had vaginal dryness, burning, sometimes itching, bleeding after intercoarse and urgency with urination. Osphena was the first thing I had used that actually gave me relief but unfortunately I had to stop taking it because of the spotting other than that I had no other side effect.
Thanks Erica. I appreciate your speedy response. Continue to feel better.
Dr given me vagifem but im scared to try it. Anyone had it for help with utis?
Thank you Maryann. I hope you start feeling better soon.
