I SHAVED TUESDAY AND THURSDAY / FRIDAY I NOTICED THESE BUMPS IM NOT SURE ON A HOW A OUTBREAK LOOKS OR FEEL BUT ITS REALLY ITCHY &!I TRIED POPPING ONE AND PUSS , BLOOD & CLEAR LIQUID FOLLOWED BU A HAIR .. COULD THIS BE AN OUTBREAK OR JUST INGROWN HAIRS :red_question_mark::red_question_mark:

they look like infected hair follicles theres hairs coming out of them so id say its from shaving it normally occurs a few days after shaving

folliculitis isnt caused by herpes its caused by bacteria entering the hair follicles

so it’s normal to have the clear liquid ? & how can i avoid that because it itches bad & i use new razors

Its just like pimples you could get on your face, so yes clear fluid is normal for folliculitis too. Its the same thing that many men get from shaving their neck or face… Dont shave at all until they are completely gone away or the bacteria can spread easier. Since its on your vag I wouldnt reccomend trying to treat it with anything like you could if it was somewhere else .. I actually would get them so often that I ended up doing laser hair removal.

i probably would have to try that ,so this doesnt look like herpes at all ? this the 2nd time this happened after shaving since testing + for hsv 1 ( blood test so idk if genital or oral )

I actually have genital hsv1 and my outbreak vs. my folliculitis are very different in symptoms and appearence, like day and night. Ive had both swabbed too.. If I were to compare your image to myself, it would definitely be folliculitis, BUT herpes does present itself different on different people so I cant promise you.. For your own piece of mind it wouldnt hurt to go get them tested

during 18 years of shaving I never got pimples/folliculitis. it was super smooth skin.

after infection I get super painful folliculitis each time I shave while my resistance is low or when the skin is a irritated by tight clothes. this happens ones in every 6 weeks or so. never had anything like that before.

literature describes casuses too (even called herpetic folliculitis)

so yes iT definately could be or at least could be related to HSV

same i got razor bumps bur never these itchy blisters which is what made me get tested before. so would you consider this an outbreak ? do you have genital hsv 1 or 2 ? & my bumps never break open lastly do you know how some home remedies or over the counter to treat it ?

zinc creme works super for me - wash your hands thoroughly or better: apply with something like a tissue
