Is it possible to have your first genital herpes outbreak years after being exposed to it?
hi, my doctor told me its possible to be in your system for months even years and something can suddenly cause an outbreak. Im not sure how true that is.

But if your immune system has taken a hit and compromised in any way, then it’s possible for an outbreak years after to be much more severe than those previous, and because of this it can be the first outbreak that actually gets noticed.
