is the first outbreak really the worst? its been four weeks and it seems my sores have almost finally gone away
from what I have read online an from other people’s experiences the first outbreak usually is the worst. i had my first about a month ago which lasted about 10 days an was so mild I’m not even entirely sure I believe my test results. as far an recurring outbreaks I’ve read some people get them as often as once a month or not for months or even years I guess it depends on the person an how their body handles the herpes virus so it really hard to say for sure. I know there are people who have had an outbreak an then don’t have any for years or never again that they just carry the virus. we can only hope since we are new to having this that we dont get many or severely painful outbreaks.
ive had it for nearly 3 years and the honest answer is no. i dont think your first ob is your worst. it CAN be your worst, but that means you have to start taking care of your body.. like yesterday. i was lazy and started taking hella suppresents so that i could drink and live the “life i had before herpes” but my body backfired and i had something so close to my first Ob, it aas terrible. im not trying to throw any judgement but why did it take so long to heal after your first Ob? are you taking the medicine and eating right? washing and making sure to go commando at night? with pills your body should be able to heal within a week., maybe two. without pills 4 weeks sounds about right…
I started the meds 4 days ago.. and I had been drinking consistently before my outbreak and I do believe I was exposed during that time as well.. I’m diabetic also and have had cancer.previously doing chemotherapy so that may be a factor
