Does anyone else experience outer vaginal itching during perimenopause? It is driving me crazy.... If anyone has some suggestions I would be greatly appreciative!!!
Yes Facing this from long time. Apply COCONUT OIL in night....its very effective . Try mam tk
Hi
when itchy try washing area in cold or lukewarm water preferably with a hint of salt in water and then apply oil - coconut - i think i used to use mustard - but basically whatever oil you are not allergic to.
also wear only cotton underpants.
i hope this helps.
I use aloe gel and it helps. Coconut oil made it worse and more itchy for me. It comes and goes and I feel hormones and stress make it worse. I have been going to an acupunturist for it and it does seem to help. I am so sorry you have this...its Horrible!!
thank you!!! I will try the aloe gel :)
Great advice! Thank you :)
i will give it a shot...thanks!!
Just a note...make sure it's very good quality...and put on 3 to 4 times daily. I got one that was pricey, but there is a difference in the brands.
Any suggestions on good brands?
Skin Gel Aloe Life ....whole leaf aloe vera skin gel. it has Vitamins A, C, E, and herbs
Thank you dear 🤗
i hope you have tried some of the advise and already feeling less itchy. I use YES Moisturisers. I seem to feel dry in and out. This product helps me.
I have the itchiness your are describing and tried coconut oil also but it didnt make it stop itching for very long, it was just more soothing than anything. but I was still scratching myself raw lol!! So my dermatologist gave me a prescription ointment called triamcinolone acetonide and it cleared it up in less than a week. You only use it if you start to itch again. She mentioned Eczema. I also had a spot behind my ear that would not ever heal up and also itched terribly so the ointment cleared that right up too!! but all this started when all the peri menopause stuff started in my mid to late 40s...I have never had all the skin issues in my 20s and 30s!!Now I am about to turn 51 and have all sorts of symptoms mostly anxiety! Hope this helps! Beth
