Hello all, I am waiting on a call from my gynecologist, but she is on vacation until next Wednesday. My issues started when a 2.8 cm cyst was discovered while checking for kidney stones. I passed them but still had symptoms, so a renal and pelvic ultrasound were ordered. My left kidney is backed up, which the urologist said is probably due to the cyst. I called this morning and the nurse said that the cyst is now 4.8 cm. What confuses me is that the original scan of the cyst said that "it was thinly septated, but anoechic with nodularity." My gyn at that point said that it appeared to be fluid filled. The scan report yesterday said that it is a "slightly complex cyst", and that it was hemorrhaging. So does that mean it isn't fluid anymore? I have pcos and a long history of fluid filled cysts that were painful, but nothing that has ever compared to this. I am not bleeding, so I'm guessing that the blood is going into my abdomen? It is common for them to change? And am I able to request that it be removed? Thanks for any input.
I am sorry, it said no nodularity.
Hemorrhagic cyst are complex because it is filled with blood not fluid. Ive had 2 so i was put on the depo shot.
Thank you for your reply. I have a clotting disorder, so I can only take certain birth controls...I hope they can do something.
