Hi Ladies, any of you experienced ovarian cysts? if so is there any home remedies that work well? This is the third time i dealt with this nightmare and since the cornavirus i cannot get in to see my doctor. i talked to him thru teladoc but ultrasound not until next Thursday . I cannot seem to get a script since its a naracotic for pain and hes working from home, pharmacy will not accept a call in for pain meds. im am so frustrated and in pain the tylenol not cutting it! up for any suggestions, thank you
Depending on the type of cyst, you might try homeopathy. It can help you with symptoms and the cysts themselves.
Hi LLOTENZ, There are different kinds of cysts…sometimes they do go away after one whole cycle of your hormones, since you ovulate eggs from one side then the next, typically alternating months, depending on cause, they go away and women sometimes only get pain in the ovary effected, e/o month. Tylenol can help pain(only mild pain) but, not inflammation, so ask your Dr about Aleve, Advil etc…it will work better for that, if you have medical conditions or take other meds, it may be not advised…you can use topicals like Aspercreme or diclofenac gels, it doesnt go through your body or you can use it with the oral meds, heat can help to relax the area & increase blood flow for meds to work better…really not a lot but, try these things, talk to your Dr and see if you can get some help from them or maybe these things can get you through until you can see a Dr in person…Good Luck, hope you can get some relief until it can be fixed permanently, take care, BEST WISHES:wedding:
