Hi I have GAD which gives me very bad physical symptons of fear. Over the last 15 years I achieved complete symptom remission, 1st for 9 years on Paroxetine and then, when that stopped working, for 6 years on Escitalopram. That also stopped working in October last year and the last 7 months have been hell. My psychiatrist had me try Paroxetine again, but after a good 3 weeks it stopped workin I am now on 4 weeks in on Sertraline. My question is, has anyone found success on another drug when at least 2 have pooped out on them over time? I'm so scared that nothing else will work now and I will be treatment resistant, as I read an article that said this can happen. Any experiences anyone is willing to share would be great Thank you xxx
y.es, these meds can poop out, my sister has to keep changing hers every few years…you probably need a change of meds…but they should work again for you…
