Over the counter tablet dosage

Hi I am excited and nervous after reading all your posts but I have just started taking Alli today (orlistat) which I purchased myself and was wondering whether the over the counter tablets are the same dosage as the prescribed ones?? These are 60mg and I think I read somewhere the prescribed ones are double that?

Hi Imjenk,

I too have just stated the blue pills today. Mine are 120g, they were on presription from the dr.

I have had one tablet, and no side effects whatsoever, is this normal?

Hi iam on orlistat from my doctor they are 120mg and i take 3 aday.

My chemist told me that the over the counter tablets are half strength of the prescription ones.
