Overmedication?

Hi I’m a 23 old girl 115kg body mass index 41 with pcos and insulin resistance and borderline hypothyroidism

7th of February 2025 I took my first dose of 50mg levothryxine I had no side effects until April 1st I started to randomly get out of breathe even when laying down or sitting up I brushed it off it wasn’t effecting me it would only last a few minutes on the 7th April I had a very heavy chest and heart beating fast and I was struggling to breathe I went to the hospital and they ran a few tests expect my phosphate was low but I was giving iv fluids and sent home but my breathing was still very difficult and a tight chest I was exhausted and kept taking naps I kept going back and forth to the hospital for the same reason one day they gave me a nebulizer at the hospital which helped with the tightness but not the difficulty breathing I got sent home I kept going back and forth again but they would only do blood tests and send me home as it was normal but I told them I was having chest pains in May I was prescribed luforbec I took it for 4 weeks and it didn’t help only helped me in the first week but it dipped down again then in May I was prescribed lansoprazole for 5 weeks which didn’t help but this triggered the chronic nausea espically after eating so then comes June I’m still having problems with breathing and chronic nausea but my chest pain as gone down significantly it only comes rarely and only lasts a few minutes rather than very intense and lasting most of the day then in July I was prescribed setraline I took it for 3 days but I felt burning all over my body and I woke up gagging and severely hard to breathe so I stopped it I started feeling better after the medicine had left my body but for the first 3 days of stopping it my breathing was soooo difficulty like it was in April but after a week it got better but I still had episodes of breathlessness rather than it being constant which is good but I’m still having chronic nausea then the doc told me to start levothryxine again first day I was good the very next day i had intense difficulty breathing again I took levothryxine for a week and then stopped it it’s been a week since I’m off the medicine however everytime I eat I feel intense pressure in my stomach even if it’s a small glass of water it’s like I’ve overeaten it’s very uncomfortable and there’s sometimes abit of pain for reference I’m now 103kg since all this happened as I’ve been put off food it’s now been 2 weeks since and I still get chest tightness mild nausea I’m thinking maybe I have been over medicated and it’s completely tipped my entire body April to September having problems

All are clear

Borderline hypothyroid issue can be helped by taking a Kelp supplement for a natural source iodine. In terms of thyroid, it’s best to get the full thyroid panel to see if the thyroid gland is performing normally (usually doctors test only for the thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) which doesn’t give the full picture). Insulin resistance is a serious health issue which can be reversed through diet (See Dr. Jason Fung “The Diabetes Code”). Best to lower your consumption of sugar, caffeine and processed foods high in sugar, high fructose corn syrup, industrial seed oils, and refined carbohydrates that rapidly release sugar (cereal, bread, pasta, crackers). Sugar drives inflammation throughout the body. Smoking will also cause inflammation increasing the risk of insulin resistance (just read that in Dr. Benjamin Bickman’s Why We Get Sick). Not sure if you had the mRNA vaccine, I have and will not have another. If so, check for myocarditis to eliminate.

Thyroxine can cause chest pain and difficulty breathing. May be better to get off the thyroxine and take an iodine supplement then get the thyroid retested to see if this resolves the hypothyroidism.
