At 9 pm last night, I opened the stove door to get my popcorn popper so I could make myself a snack. That's when i discovered it. The chicken I had put in the oven at 7pm, still raw. Oh well, jump start on dinner tomorrow! Lol
I swear, i dont even know.if my brain is connected anymore.
thats so funny im not laughing at you but with you as thats me to a tee i was using my car keys to try and open my door at work milk in the cupboard keys in the freezer just to name a couple of daft things i do lol x
ha. i went looking for my car keys. looked for 10 mins and came back outside to discover that the car was open, keys in the ignition and it was running. not funny
Ohhh goodness me yes. Sorting myself out some days is like ground hog day. Brain says go and get your hairbrush. Walk to the room get there standing there like a dork forgot what I was getting. Have to take a cellphone snapshot of way I entered the mall to remember where I parked my car. I've list my car and marbles on several occasions thinking it's been stolen. Duh..
Oh I so relate to this. The fog, the feeling that my mind is untethered from my brain. Forgetting words, names, where I left my sunglasses. I also make lists so I can remember tasks I need to do. I only hope this truly gets better with time. Let's all hang in there!
What kids???? Hehe. Absolutely. I'd probably need name tags. My Nan would say hey you there thingy me jiggy. Clicking get fingers to remember can you fetch my glasses.
I have always had memory problems especially when i was hormonal I remember when my eldest lad was in a pushchair I walked down to post a let I got half way up the road realised there was something i had forgotten looked at the letter in my hand and realised i left him outside the shop!!! he was only a minute away but boy did my heart miss about 100 beats now im going through the peri im no different my husband laughs at the things i do sometimes not at me but with me and my favourite trick.... leaving my oven on after i have finished maybe we should start a discussion on what we do whilst being menopausal I am sure we could keep the conversation going for days and it will give us all a good belly laugh to cheer us up
