If LUTS returns after a TURP done several years ago, is it possible to undergo a PAE?

I had a PAE in 2017, and a bipolar TURP in April of this year. You are asking if this can be done in the reverse order, and I can’t think of any reason why not. You need to consult with an Interventional Radiologist who does PAE and ask that question. The PAE doesn’t physically touch the prostate tissue, just the arteries that supply blood, so it should work. Most on this forum who have had failed PAEs reported an issue with a median lobe, but, after a TURP the median lobe should be cut away, so I would think this would increase the chances of the PAE being effective.
