i have had a colonoscopy and a ct scan colonoscopy all the Drs found was big diverticula. My GP put me on iron tablets as he thought 8 was bleeding and I was anemic. I’m now off of the tablets thank goodness as they played havoc with my tummy. When I poo I get pain round my middle and my tummy can get bloated.
Were you told whether or not the divericula were inflammed?
It was after a nights sickness about two months ago. But now I’m off of the iron it’s worse again. It just feels very bloated
Maybe the iron upset your stomach.
Yes I think it has but since all of the test I had scopes etc I never had any bother but let’s hope now it will settle down

get Isabgol from local indian shops soak 1tsp with 1/4 cup water let it turn into jelly and drink it everyday, read about it online. its worked wonders for me.
i am not constipated yet i have it everyday, no timing just once a day anytime. mix with roza syrup to have a taste as it doesnt have any, i have it either with roza or cranberry or plain.
pippa is right its the iron tablets..... rather have spinach or dates to compansate.
