I had gall bladder removed by key hole in december 16 since the iv been in hospital 4x for 1-5 days with horrific attacs .... paramedics gave me 20ml iv morphine and gas n air to still be in aggony .any one been throughthis ... mri and ct show no reasons . Iv been refered for camera down innxt week but doctors baffled and so am i
You either have a stone left behind in your bile ducts or you have what is called Sphincter of Oddi Dysfunction. Your doctor should be aware of this condition. Has he/she ever mentioned it? Do you have a lot of nausea? Do you get full real easily?
You may want to go see another GI doctor to get a second opinion.
SOD is a possibility but let's hope it's not that as it's so hard to treat from what I researched. Post-cholecystectomy symptoms can happen after op or years after. I've had a lot since my gb in 2014. It's hopeless. I hope you get better soon x
