Ok so I am basically at the point to where I have no idea what in the world to do!
I am 32 years old, female, and up until now I have been basically healthy but as of the last 3 months I am MISERABLE.
Symptoms:
- Dull pain that turns sharp at times under my left ribcage
- Feels as if i have a balloon or something pushing upward under my ribs and just makes sitting uncomfortable at best. I wake up through the night having to re position to get comfy
- No appetite
- Vomit most of the time after I eat (2 out of 3 times)
- Blood in my stool
- BMs go back and forth from constipation to diarrhea
- Regular blood test all of which seem to be "normal" minus a positive ana test
- Recent CT scan did not show anything
- My feet stay very cold and turn a pale white and the nails almost a blueish purple
- I am ALWAYS tired not just sleepy but I feel like I am walking through life with my body covered in quicksand like everything I do is just harder than it should be even simple tasks
- Brain fog and spells of dizziness
My doctor is working on a referral to a GI but I am just so over all of this! I hate this constant uncomfortable feeling and I hate that I feel insane because everything is "normal" well no its not but how do I figure it out otherwise? Anyone else have this problem? What did you find out?

If your ANA blood test...Anti-Nuclear Antibodies were elevated and you have bluey fingers/fingernails which could be Reynaulds Disease plus fatigue brain fog and dizzy spells...all these together could indicate an autoimmune condition...such as Lupus....have you had an ESR blood test Erythrocite Sedimentation Rate blood test also CRP blood test...C-Reactive Protein blood test....if these are elevated along with the ANA test this would indicate infkammation in the body which could affect your digestive system......best wishes....
When I saw my general doc on Friday and got the ana positive test she did have me get blood taken for some extra laps and I don't remember hearing her say ESR but I know one was CRP so I am guessing perhaps that was the other one but if not I will def ask her about it. She also wants me to get in with a Rheumatologist unfortunately in my area there are only 2 and the soonest they would see me is in May (that seems crazy to me but I guess) if my other results come back and she seems concerned I am planning to just go outside my area there is a great research hospital 4 hours away and at this point I would drive anywhere to figure this out! Thank you for mentioning those tests and I will make sure I get them done. I feel silly asking but I haven't really ever had a lot of health issues so I am not 100% sure about what I am looking at but at least my doctor is good to answer all my questions in a way I understand but sometimes its knowing what to ask for that is what I am missing

If your doc has mentioned CRP blood test and referring you to a Rheumatologist she is thinking along the lines of inflammation in the body and perhaps Lupus or some other Autoimmune condition..but Reynaulds is usually associated with Lupus. There is also a blood test known as dsDNA which is a gene and a marker for Lupus....but of course you may not have Lupus at all...just wait for all blood tests to come back and take it from there....just relax and don't stress over it.....my very best wishes to you leslie98478...
