Hi I live in the US 22 years old will be 23 in a week. I had my gb removed 5 weeks ago because my CT scan showed plenty of gallstones in the gallbladder. Surgery was successful but the first week I kept waking up in the morning with a cramping pain / discomfort behind my ribcage on both sides and in the center as well . I ignored it and just assumed it was because of surgery. Now 5 weeks later today I woke up with the same exact type of pain in the same area but far more INTENSE. I go to use the bathroom and I almost pass out with the pain and symptoms. The intense pain, craping, griping feeling brought on nausea and I felt hot and cold at the same time. I began to cold sweat and my insides felt as if it were a cloth being wringed out. Has anyone ever experienced this ?! I am so frustrated I've missed so many days of school feeling like crap. If anyone has experienced something similar please share !
Also... I already spoke with my surgeon about this and he wants me to get bloodwork... and made an appointment with my GI but honestly ive been on a rollercoaster ride dealing with doctors for the past 6 months I would like to hear feedback from people in the same situation because I feel quite alone.
Thanks
