Ok so for the last few weeks I'd have slight pain in my left side under my ribs but all of a sudden the pain
Has gotten worse and there is swelling as well as the fact that it feels hard when I touch it
Is anyone else having this problem? And if so do you have any idea what the cause is?
Sudden pain could be sign of muscle pull or spleen infection.
It would be better to see a doctor unless this has subsided.
Any other symptoms like skin infection or fever?
Don't panic yet - if you've had it for a few weeks first it might just be coming from your stomach (Things like acid reflux, indigestion, bacterial imbalance etc). I have IBS and I get awful pain there.
If it is is really worrying you it's not something I would leave to this forum because someone needs to examine it for you. there are a few less likely things it could be in that location (broken rib, spleen damage, stomach ulcer, kidney stones, lung problem).
Do you have any other symptoms?
The only other symptoms I can think of is pain in my lower back
