I basically have pain from the enlarged vein all the way up to the centre of my penis head, almost a straight line (as the pictures show). It also hurts right below my penis head, almost where there is a small banjo string. It aches at times and is really affecting my happiness. The centre of the penis head/corona is slightly swollen, which I hope you can see in the pictures. It also feels like there is a lump underneath this area.I've seen a urologist who says there is nothing to worry about and also a plastic surgeon who said he cant operate ( as they didn't know the problem). Nothing has ever been done on the actual vein, such as an ultrasound etc. It's extremely frustrating as I know something isn't right and have done for ages. It hasn't been caused by sexual intercourse either. I hope this makes sense. Please help! Thanks.
Could it be inflammation of a vein caused by a blood clot?? I would go back to get a second opinion from a new doctor..
Literally been to four doctors and they dont have a clue. They just gave me cream, which didnt work. No suprise as I think its more of a problem inside that the skin. I thought the same about the blood clot. Could it be stopping blood flow hence why the pain? Do you know anything that could be done with it? Thanks!
Normally for a blood clot they would do an ultrasound for a larger areas and a venogram for smaller veins. I’m honestly not sure what they would do for that area but maybe do some research on blood clots and symptoms in that area. Hope you get it figured out. good luck
There’s also a blood test that measures a substance that is released as a blood clot dissolves.
It might not be the same thing, but I’m experiencing something similar. My corona is swollen, rash on penis head and foreskin (under the corona and multiple random places), penis feels inflamed and sometimes it hurts from the inside(urethra). The pain comes and goes. Also sometimes I have enlarged veins and it happens very randomly.
So far every urologist has told me that its nothing serious. They said that its probably mechanical.
(I had chlamydia and since then I’ve been freaking out. I did multiple urethral swab test and I’m suspecting that the trauma might be the reason for this unexplained pain.
