Pain in right back near bottom of ribs

I had back pin in my right back side near bottom of ribs last year but it’s come back but this time it’s more intense and gets way more of my attention.

I really don’t think it’s muscle related. It feels more internal than that.

That side of my back actually feels hot - does that mean there is an infection being fought off, maybe in my kidney? Tumor? When my husband felt my back he noticed a lump, whether it’s related or not, I don’t know. The lump does not stick up above the surface, so you can’t actually see it. The lump is about 3/4" across.

My advice is to see your Dr and possibly get a CAT scan to make sure you’re ok, good luck and prayers to you.

Any unexplained lumps need to be seen by a doctor. It is probably nothing serious but get it checked anyway.
